Hello. My name is Matilde. I am from Cartagena, a beautiful city on the west coast of Columbia where I taught 3-5 year old children. I have lived in Gunnison for two years now and enjoy the friendly people and getting to see all four seasons of the year. Sometimes I do miss the beaches in Columbia. My favorite color is blue. I enjoy music and play the vallenatos, which is the Colombian version of an accordion. I also love to sing and dance the salsa. In Columbia I was also a hairdresser and taught others how to cut and style hair. I am excited to be at Tenderfoot working with children! 

Hola. Mi nombre es Matilde. Soy de Cartagena, una hermosa ciudad en la costa oeste de Colombia donde enseñé a niños de 3 a 5 años. He vivido en Gunnison durante dos años y disfruto de la gente amable y de poder ver las cuatro estaciones del año. A veces extraño las playas de Columbia. Mi color favorito es el azul. Disfruto de la música y toco los vallenatos, que es la versión colombiana del acordeón. También me encanta cantar y bailar salsa. En Colombia también fui peluquera y enseñé a otros a cortar y peinar el cabello. ¡Estoy emocionado de estar en Tenderfoot trabajando con niños!
