Hello everyone! My name is Catherine Ellis, but everyone calls me Catie. I started my journey in Gunnison through Western Colorado University. I majored in Clinical Psychology. However, I found a passion for working with kids through my childhood development class. In fact, it was my professor who recommended I apply as a teacher’s aide here, which I did right away. As I worked between classes my love for these children, and this age group, grew more and more each day. So, when I was told I could be one of the lead teachers in the toddler rooms, I knew I needed to jump at the opportunity. I only hope I can bring as much joy and knowledge to these kiddos as they do me!
