Hi, I am Liz Rowe!  I am the Lead Teacher for the 4-5 year old Green Preschool classroom.  I grew up here on the western slope and attended Mesa State College earning an Associates in Early Childhood Development and Education. My husband and I moved to Gunnison in 2011 and I have enjoyed working at Tenderfoot ever since.  I began working with the toddlers and have found my true passion here with the older preschoolers.  My husband and I have 2 children.  I enjoy reading and spending time with my wonderful family.  We truly enjoy all of the beauty that the Gunnison outdoors has to offer; fishing, hunting, hiking and camping with our dogs.  My favorite time of day at school is Circle time.  I get to sit and share my love of books with children.  We also have fun class discussions where we interact and develop the social-emotional skills they need to be successful in life.  I love the sound of a child’s laughter and seeing the smiles on their faces as they learn and grow!
